Ji Yazhou

Ji Yazhou, born in August 1975, is an associate Professor at Jiangsu Normal University, and a Ph.D from China University of Mining and Technology. He currently serves as the director Laboratory of School of Geography, Geomatics and Planning. In 2001, he gained a bachelor’s degree in surveying engineering from China University of Mining and Technology. In 2004, he got Master’s degree in Cartography and Geographic Information Engineering from China University of Mining and Technology; in 2015, he gained Ph. D. in Cartography and Geographic Information Engineering from China University of Mining and Technology.

He is mainly engaged in land and resources information, land database intelligent updating, Internet and intelligent transportation teaching and research work. In the past 5 years, he presided over or participated in Research on dynamic change Technology of Land Information Based on Second-Surveying Achievements (National Public Welfare Industry Scientific Research Project), Research on Rapid Updating of cadastral Database based on handheld differential GPS and 3G Network,Study on timing Mechanism of Traffic Light Command System Based on Networking,  Research on big data Analysis and Resource Optimization Countermeasures of Rural Residential Consolidation potential and ,etc. He has published more than 10 papers, and coauthored teaching materials. He has hosted over more than 30 projects commissioned by local land and resources management departments, agricultural departments or enterprises, promoting the development of local land information technology and obtaining more than 3.5 million yuan in scientific research funds. He won a second prize for geographical information science and technology progress in China, a third prize in geographical information science and technology progress in China, and a third prize in science and technology progress in surveying and mapping in Jiangsu Province.
