Established in 1952, Jiangsu Normal University is located in the historically and culturally rich city of Xuzhou. The name “Normal” is derived from the motto of the renowned Chinese educationist Tao Xingzhi, “Deep knowledge makes a teacher; great virtue makes a model”, which representing Chinese people’s lofty criterion for teachers.
