Overview
Since its opening in 2009, this major is oriented towards the needs of the software industry, relying on some teaching research experimental platforms including the national college student out-of-school practice base, provincial experimental teaching and practical education center, and provincial experimental teaching demonstration center, training engineering talents who can develop, maintain and manage large-scale complex software systems. This major is currently the construction major of the education and training program of outstanding engineers in Jiangsu Province, and it is the embedded training major of software service outsourcing in Jiangsu Province, which has been granted the right to give an academic master's degree. The faculty consists of full-time, part-time, enterprise teachers and foreign teachers. With many years of practice, a complete system of evaluation and optimization of students' engineering practice ability has been constructed, focusing on project development and management ability, innovation and entrepreneurship ability, team spirit and international competitiveness training, which has formed a distinctive and effective elite software talent training model.

Knowledge and Skills

(1) Able to apply mathematical, natural science, engineering foundation and software engineering expertise to solve complex engineering problems;

(2) Able to apply the basic principles of mathematics, natural science and software engineering to identify, express and analyze complex engineering problems in the field of software engineering through literature research so as to draw effective conclusions;

(3) Able to design solutions to complex engineering problems in the field of software engineering, develop software systems that meet specific needs, and reflect a sense of innovation in the design process, taking into account social, health, safety, legal, cultural and environmental factors;

(4) Able to study complex engineering problems based on the principles of computational science and use software engineering methods and techniques, including analysis and modeling, testing and verification, design experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and obtain reasonable and effective conclusions through information synthesis;

Introduction to the School of Intelligent Education

The School of Intelligent Education (The School of Computer Science and Technology) closely focuses on national strategy and social needs, and actively explores the mode of training information professionals in the Internet plus era.
