This master program is designed to foster students’ all-round moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic grounding with a hard-working spirit. Students are equipped with solid foundation of theoretical knowledge, strong skills for doing research and transforming knowledge into practice. This program helps students build modern educational philosophies and innovative spirit. Students are prepared to be scholarly leaders, researchers, teachers, and managers in early childhood programs, elementary and secondary schools, post-secondary specialized colleges, education administrative departments, and research institutes.

Students can focus their studies on one of the following domains: Educational Philosophy, Teacher Education, Educational Psychology, Higher Education, Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, Comparative Education, Vocational Education, and Educational Economics and Management.

We adopt supervisor accountability training method. Supervisors shoulder the primary responsibility in providing all-dimensional, whole-process, individualized guidance for their students. The training process includes taking courses, doing research, and completing the master thesis. Students get both one-on-one advising from their own supervisor, and group advising from the academic group. We help students develop creativity in learning, and strengthen the systematic research training.

Graduate students have to meet the following basic requirements within the designated academic years so that they can graduate and get the certificate of graduation.

1. Obey laws and regulations in China and rules and regulations in the university, have a rigorous learning style and good personalities.

2. Complete the course study stipulated in the training program within designated academic years, pass the examinations and obtain the prescribed credits.

3. Pass Third Level Test of HSK.

4. The dissertation passes the evaluation and defense.
