Cultivation Method
Combining theories and practice, this program adopts double-tutorial system. Two tutors inside and outside the university jointly guide students’ study and research. In addition to the guidance of JSNU tutors, School of Life Sciences hires experienced teachers of secondary schools or teaching researchers to take part in students’ teaching, practice and dissertation writing. According to cultivation objective, courses and teaching content, tutors adopt appropriate teaching methods, pay attention to teaching practice and reflection, combine case study, simulative teaching with group work, focus on students’ initiative spirit and make full use of modern technology like the Internet.
At least 6 month’s study at the university is required.
Degree offered
Students must complete the coursework to fulfill the minimum credit requirement and qualify for the degree conferral. A thesis defense is an essential part of the degree.
